Heartbroken

After my workout, I was walking to the gym nursery with my friend Tonya to pick up Ally. We were chatting all the way to the door. All of a sudden, I looked up to see my bitty baby in the play area with 2 other kids sitting all by herself playing with toys! She's been sitting unassisted 6 days now, but it was still shocking to see. I seriously wanted to shout, "she's a baby, please pick her up!" I don't want her to grow up so fast. I was heartbroken.

This afternoon, Connor had baseball practice. I am so very proud of him. He was excited and eager to practice. He was great! I loved how hard he tried and how he gave 100% tonight. It's very rewarding to watch him play.

Ian was also at practice with us and I was amused to watch him play with the other kids there. He was very good about being patient and kind to the little kids. Olivia Wright is only 4 years old and just loves Ian. He ran with her and played tag with her. It's fun to watch him mature and do the right thing even though he might not want to play with a 4 year old for an hour. :)
