Ian has to turn in his 6 year plan for high school by the end of this week. I can hardly wrap my head around the fact that our 6th grader is about to start taking high school courses in middle school. I hate this... life is going by too fast. I loathe the thought of him only having 5 more years at home with us before he heads out to start a life of his own. It really makes me sad and a little depressed to think about. He's such a good boy. He looks so grown up now and I'm very proud with the young man he's becoming. Last night at dinner we discussed college and what it will take for him to get into the college he wants to attend. He's been saying for a while now that he wants to go to West Point, so we're trying to let him know that it's no picnic without completely scaring him off! I know he can do it, he's a very smart boy. He just needs to buckle down and start taking school a little more seriously. I love that boy!

I love the updates on the kiddos. Cute stories. I also love the picures of Nenaw! I had completely forgotten about her. What a sweet lady. As soon as I saw the pictures a wave of memories came over me. I was telling Mama about it and she said she could place what she looked like. I said Oh if you saw the pictures you would remember immediately. Thanks for the update. I know she is so special to you.
